Aryabhatta knew about gravity before Isaac Newton: ex-ISRO chief G Madhavan Nair

Eminent scientist and former ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair said that Vedas and ancient Indian scriptures also had information on metallurgy, algebra, astronomy, maths etc. way before the western world knew about them.

One of the country’s leading scientists and former ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair today propounded the theory that some shlokas in the Vedas mentioned about presence of water on the moon and astronomy experts like Aryabhatta knew about gravitational force much before Isaac Newton.

The 71-year-old Padma Vibhushan awardee said the Indian vedas and ancient scriptures also had information on metallurgy, algebra, astronomy, maths, architecture and astrology way before the western world knew about them.

Speaking at an international conference on Vedas, he however, added that the information in Vedas was in a “condensed format” which made it difficult for the modern science to accept it.

“Some sholkas in one of the Vedas say that there is water on the moon but no one believed it. Through our Chandrayaan mission, we could establish that and we were the first ones to find that out,” Nair said, adding that everything in Vedas could not be understood as they were in chaste Sanskrit.

He also talked very highly about fifth century astronomer- mathematician Aryabhatta saying, “We are really proud that Aryabhatta and Bhaskara have done extensive work on planetary work and exploration of outer planets. It was one of the challenging fields.

“Even for Chandrayaan, the equation of Aryabhatta was used. Even the (knowledge of) gravitational field… Newton found it some 1500 years later… the knowledge existing (in our scriptures),” he said.

Nair, who was ISRO chairman from 2003-09, also claimed geometry was used to make calculations for building cities during the Harappan civilisation and the Pythagorean theorem also existed since the vedic period.

The comments by Nair came in the backdrop of many BJP leaders talking about ancient Indian scriptures having scientific information including on plastic surgery as well as aero-dynamics.

“The Vedas had a lot of information in the field of space and atomic energy. We were fine until 600 BC. Then came the time of invasions till Independence. Since then, we are growing. We deciphered the atoms for peaceful use,” Mr Nair said.

While serving in ISRO, Mr Nair had made significant contributions to the development of multi-stage satellite launch vehicles.

“As a scientist, I would say that the computations evolved those days were really fantastic. The Vedanga Jyotisa (one of the earliest books on astronomy) is one of the texts, which is evolved in 1400 BC… this is all recorded,” he said.

“These are the fundamental findings which the Western world did not have any knowledge of. The only drawback was this information was condensed to bullet form and the modern science does not accept this. And to read the Vedas, one must also know Sanskrit,” Mr Nair added.

Bai Fangli - The Rickshaw Puller

In 1987, a 74-year old rickshaw puller by the name of Bai Fangli came back to his hometown planning to retire from his backbreaking job. There, he saw children working in the fields, because they were too poor to afford school fees.

Bai returned to Tianjin and went back to work as a rickshaw puller, taking a modest accommodation next to the railway station. He waited for clients 24 hours a day, ate simple food and wore discarded second-hand clothes he found. He gave all of his hard-earned earnings to support children who could not afford education.

In 2001, he drove his rickshaw to Tianjin YaoHua Middle School, to deliver his last installment of money. Nearly 90 years old, he told the students that he couldn't work any more. All of the students and teachers were moved to tears.

In total, Bai had donated a total of 350,000 yuan to help more than 300 poor students continue with their studies. In 2005, Bai passed away leaving behind an inspiring legacy.

If a rickshaw-puller who wore used clothes and had no education can support 300 children to go to school, imagine what you and I can do with the resources we have to bring about positive change in our world!

King Jai Singh and Rolls Royce. Proud to be an Indian

One day during his visit to London, King Jai Singh was walking in casual dress in Bond Street. He saw a Rolls Royce showroom and went inside to inquire about the Price and Features etc of their cars.

Considering him a just another Poor Indian citizen, showroom salesmen insulted him and almost showed him the way out of the showroom. After this insult, King Jai Singh came back to his Hotel room and asked his servants to call the showroom that King of Alwar city is interested in purchasing their few Cars.

After few hours King reached the Rolls Royce showroom again but with his full astonishing royal manner and in his royal costume. Until he reached the showroom there was already red carpet on the floor and all the salesmen were bent with respect. The King purchased all the six cars that they had at showroom at that time and paid full amount with delivery costs.

After reaching India, King ordered municipal department to use all those six Rolls Royce cars for cleaning and transporting city’s waste. World’s number one Rolls Royce cars were being used for transportation of City’s waste, the news spread all over the world rapidly and the reputation of Rolls Royce Company was in drains.

Whenever someone used to boast in Europe or America that he owned a Rolls Royce, people used to laugh saying, “which one? The same that is used in India for carrying the waste of the City?”

Due to such reputation damages, sales of Rolls Royce dropped rapidly and revenue of company owners started falling down. Then they sent a Telegram to the king in India for apologies and requested to stop transportation of waste in Rolls Royce cars. Not only this but they also offered Six new cars to king free of cost.

When King Jai Singh observed that Rolls Royce has learnt a lesson and they are sorry for their mistakes, King stopped using those cars for carrying wastes.

This is a story that I am sure will change your approach towards life:

The Story of an EAGLE

The Eagle has the longest life-span of its species. It can live upto 70 years. 

But to reach this age, the eagle must make a very difficult decision!

In its 40th year, the eagle's long and flexible Talons can no longer grab a prey which serves as food. 

Its long and sharp beak becomes bent.

Its old-aged and heavy wings, due to their thick feathers, stick to its chest and make it difficult to fly.

Then, the eagle is left with only two options: DIE or go through a painful process of CHANGE! This process lasts for 150 days (5 months)

The process requires the eagle to fly to a mountain top and sit on its nest. There the eagle knocks its beak against a rock until it plucks it out.

Then the eagle will wait for the new beak to grow back after which it will pluck out its talons. When its talons grow back, the eagle starts plucking its old aged feathers.

And after this the eagle takes its famous flight of rebirth and LIVES for 30 more years!!

Why is Change needed??? In order to survive and live. We too have to start the change process.

We sometimes need to get rid of the unpleasant old memories, negative habits and our fixed mind set. Only Freed from the past burdens can we take advantage of the present.

If an eagle can make a life saving and life changing decision at the age of 40....why can't we? 

In order to take on a New Journey ahead, let go of your negative old limiting beliefs. Open up your mind and let yourself fly high like an eagle!

When it rains, all birds occupy shelter. But the EAGLE avoids the rain by flying above the clouds.... problem is common to all but the attitude to solve it makes the difference!

അത്‌ ഇപ്രകാരമായിരുന്നു;

'ടെഡി സമർത്ഥനായ ഒരു വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയാണ്.. ഒട്ടേറെ കഴിവുകൾ അവനു നൽകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന­ു. അവനെ കൃത്യമായ ആസൂത്രണത്തോടെ, പ്രത്യേക പരിഗണന നൽകി വളർത്തേണ്ടതുണ്ട്.."

അവർ ഉടൻ അവന്റെ രണ്ടാം ക്ലാസിലെ ടീച്ചര് എഴുതിയത് എന്താണെന്ന് നോക്കി.. അതിൽ,

'ബുദ്ധിമാനായ വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥിയാണ് ടെഡി.. കൂട്ടുകാർക്ക്‌ വളരെ പ്രിയങ്കരനാണ് അവൻ.. പക്ഷെ മാതാവിനു ക്യാൻസർ ബാധിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്ന് അവനിപ്പോൾ അസ്വസ്ഥനാണ്..' എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു..

എന്നാൽ മൂന്നാം ക്ലാസിലെ ടീച്ചർ കുറിച്ചതു നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ; 

'മാതാവിന്റെ മരണം അവനെ വല്ലാതെ തളർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.. ആവുന്ന വിധത്തിലൊക്കെ ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടും പിതാവ് അവനെ പരിഗണിച്ചതേയില്ല.. വളരെ പെട്ടെന്ന് തന്നെ ആവശ്യമായനടപടികൾ സ്വീകരിക്കാത്ത പക്ഷം ഈകുഞ്ഞിന്റെ ജീവിതം താറുമാറാവുന്നതാണ്'..­.' എന്ന് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഉടനെ അവർ നാലാം ക്ലാസിലെ ടീച്ചർ എഴുതിയത് നോക്കി;

'ടെഡി സ്വന്തത്തിലേക്ക് ഒതുങ്ങിജീവിക്കുന്നവനാണ്.പഠനത്തിൽ അവനു അശ്ശേഷം താൽപ്പര്യമില്ല.. അവനു കൂട്ടുകാരുമില്ല.. ക്ലാസിനിടയിൽ കിടന്ന് ഉറങ്ങുകയാണ് അവന്റെ പതിവ്..'

ഇത്രയും വായിച്ചപ്പോഴാണ് അധ്യാപിക ആനി തോംസനു ടെഡിയുടെ യധാർത്ഥ പ്രശ്‌നം മനസ്സിലായത്.. 

തന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ അവർക്കു തന്നോടുതന്നെ ലജ്ജ തോന്നി..

മാതാവ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന അത്തറാണ് തനിക്ക് ടെഡി കൊണ്ട് വന്നതെന്ന് അവർ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു.. മരിച്ച്പോയ മാതാവിനെയാണ് ടെഡി തന്നിൽ കാണുന്നതെന്ന് ആ അധ്യാപികക്ക് ബോധ്യപ്പെട്ടു..

വേദങ്ങൾ ക്രമാനുസരണമാക്കിയ വേദവ്യാസനാണ് പഞ്ചമവേദമായ മഹാഭാരതം എഴുതിയത്. മഹാഭാരതത്തിന്റെ മറ്റൊരു പേരാണ് പർവ്വം. മറ്റു ഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായി പതിനെട്ടു പർവ്വങ്ങളിലായി അതിബ്രുഹത്തായ ഈ ഗ്രന്ഥം രചിച്ചതിനാൽ ഇതിനു ഈ പേര് ലഭിച്ചു. മഹാഭാരതം ഒരു ഗ്രന്ഥമാണ്. അതിനുകാരണം പാദം ഒന്നിൽ എട്ടക്ഷരംവീതം നാലു പാദങ്ങളിലായി 32 അക്ഷരം അടങ്ങിയ ഒരു ശ്ലോകത്തിന് 'ഗ്രന്ഥം' എന്നു പറയുന്നു. മഹാഭാരതത്തിൽ ഒരുലക്ഷത്തിഇരുപത്തായ്യായിരത്തിലധികം ഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളടങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

വേദങ്ങളും പുരാണങ്ങളും എല്ലാം എഴുതിയ വേദവ്യാസൻ സകല ഉപനിഷത് സാരവും, സകല വേദാന്ത തത്വങ്ങളും ഉൾക്കൊള്ളിച്ചു തയ്യാറാക്കിയതാണ് ഭാരതം. ഒടുവിൽ അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു, "ഇതിലില്ലാത്തതൊന്നും ലോകത്ത് കാണുകില്ല. ഇതിലുള്ളതുമാത്രമേ നിങ്ങൾക്കെവിടെയും കാണാൻ കഴിയൂ."

ശ്രീമദ് ഭഗവദ്ഗീത ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന മഹദ്ഗ്രന്ഥമാണ് മഹാഭാരതം. ഭീഷ്മപർവ്വത്തിൽ 24 മുതൽ 42 വരെ 18 അദ്ധ്യായങ്ങളിലായി ഗീത ചേർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇത് മഹാഭാരതത്തിലെ ലോകാദരണീയമായ ഭാഗം ആണ്.

പെട്ടന്നതാ യാതൊരു കാരണവും കൂടാതെ കൃഷ്ണന്‍ പൊട്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. കാരണം അന്വേഷിച്ചു. അര്‍ജ്ജുനന്‍ തന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് ചിന്തിച്ചു ചിരിച്ച കാര്യം കൃഷ്ണന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. അര്‍ജ്ജുനന്‍ കൃഷ്ണനെക്കുറിച്ച് ചിന്തിച്ച നിമിഷം ഭഗവാന്‍ അതറിഞ്ഞു. രാത്രിയില്‍ തന്നെ അര്‍ജ്ജുനന്‍റെ അടുത്തെത്തി, കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ അന്വേഷിച്ചു. അവരിരുവരും വളരെനേരം സംസാരിച്ചു. പലകാര്യങ്ങള്‍. പക്ഷെ, കൃഷ്ണന് ഒരുകാര്യം മനസ്സിലായി, അര്‍ജ്ജുനന് ഒരേയൊരു വിഷയമേയുള്ളൂ, അത് സുഭദ്രയാണ്. കൃഷ്ണന്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞില്ല. അര്‍ജ്ജുനന്‍ സുഭദ്രയെ കാണാന്‍ തന്നെ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. രണ്ടു ദിവസങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ശേഷം രൈകത പര്‍വ്വതത്തില്‍ ഒരു ഉത്സവം നടന്നു. അവിടെവെച്ച്‌ അര്‍ജ്ജുനന്‍ സുഭദ്രയെ കണ്ടു. ഇഷ്ട്ടപ്പെട്ടു. വിവാഹം കഴിക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. പക്ഷെ എങ്ങനെ?, ബലരാമനെ എതിര്‍ക്കുന്നത് എങ്ങനെ. കൃഷ്ണനെത്തന്നെ ശരണം പ്രാപിച്ചു. കൃഷ്ണന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു, ക്ഷത്രിയ കന്യകയ്ക്ക് സ്വയംവരമാണ്, പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ളത്. ഇതുകേട്ടപ്പോള്‍ അര്‍ജ്ജുനന് ഒരു സംശയം, സ്വയംവരം നടത്തിയാല്‍ സുഭദ്ര തന്നെ വരിക്കുമോ?. പിന്മാറാന്‍ വയ്യ. ഒരു സന്യാസിയുടെ വേഷം ധരിച്ചു യാദവന്മാരേ പാട്ടിലാക്കി, സുഭദ്രയുടെ കൊട്ടാരത്തില്‍ എത്തി, അവിടെ കഴിഞ്ഞു. നിത്യവും വില്ലാളി വീരനും സുന്ദരനുമായ അര്‍ജ്ജുന ചരിതങ്ങള്‍ സുഭദ്രയെ കേള്‍പ്പിച്ചു. ഒടുവില്‍ സന്യാസിയുടെ വാക്ചാതുര്യത്തിനു മുന്നില്‍ അവള്‍ അര്‍ജ്ജുനനെ കാണാനുള്ള തന്‍റെ ആഗ്രഹം സന്യാസിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു. അര്‍ജ്ജുനന്‍ സ്വയം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. എല്ലാ എതിര്‍പ്പുകളും അവഗണിച്ച് സുഭദ്രയെ നേടി. കപട സന്യാസി സുഭദ്രയെ തട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പോയ വിവരം യാദവര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ കോളിളക്കം ഉണ്ടാക്കി. പക്ഷെ കൃഷ്ണന്‍ അവരെയെല്ലാം ബുദ്ധിപൂര്‍വ്വം സമാശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചു. അര്‍ജ്ജുനന് സുഭദ്രയില്‍ അഭിമന്യു ജനിച്ചു. പരാക്രമത്തില്‍ ഭീഷ്മ തുല്ല്യനും, ആയോധനത്തില്‍ അര്‍ജ്ജുന തുല്ല്യനുമായി ഭാരതം അഭിമന്യുവിനെ വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. അഭിമന്യുവിനെ ഗര്‍ഭം ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സമയം. അര്‍ജ്ജുനന്‍ സംഭാഷണമദ്ധ്യേ സുഭദ്രയോട് വിവിധ തരത്തിലുള്ള സേനവിന്യാസങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു. പക്ഷെ പദ്മവ്യൂഹം എന്ന സേനാവിന്യാസത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് പരാമര്‍ശിച്ചു, പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കാതെ സംഭാഷണം നിര്‍ത്തി. കാരണം ഗര്‍ഭാലസ്യത്തില്‍ ആയിരുന്ന സുഭദ്ര അപ്പോഴേക്കും ഉറങ്ങിപ്പോയി. സുഭദ്രയുടെ ഗര്‍ഭത്തില്‍ ആയിരുന്ന അഭിമന്യു ഇതെല്ലാം കേട്ടിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ പദ്മവ്യൂഹം ഭേദിക്കാന്‍ അഭിമന്യു പഠിച്ചു... പക്ഷെ അതിനിന്നും പുറത്തുവരാന്‍ ഉള്ള വിദ്യ പഠിച്ചില്ല. അഭിമന്യുവിന്‍റെ കുട്ടിക്കാലം അമ്മയോടൊപ്പം ദ്വാരകയില്‍ ആയിരുന്നു. കൃഷ്ണ പുത്രനായ പ്രദ്യുമ്നന്‍ ആണ് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നല്‍കിയത്. കൃതവര്‍മ്മാവ്, സാത്യകി , ബലരാമന്‍, കൃഷ്ണന്‍, അര്‍ജ്ജുനന്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ ആയോധന വിദ്യ പഠിപ്പിച്ചു. മാത്സ്യ രാജധാനിയായ വിരാടത്തിലെ രാജകുമാരി ഉത്തരയെ 16-ആം വയസ്സില്‍ വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു. അഭിമന്യു മരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഉത്തര, പുത്രനായ പരീക്ഷിത്തിനെ ഗര്‍ഭം ധരിച്ചിരുന്നു. 

കുരുക്ഷേത്ര യുദ്ധത്തില്‍ 1-ആം ദിവസം മുതല്‍ തന്നെ അഭിമന്യു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. യുദ്ധം 12-ആം ദിവസം ആയപ്പോഴേക്കും കൌരവ പക്ഷത്തു, വളരെയധികം നാശം സംഭവിച്ചു. 10-ആം ദിവസം കൌരവ സേനാധിപതി ഭീഷ്മര്‍ നിലംപതിച്ചു. ശേഷം ദ്രോണര്‍ നായകനായി. ഇരുപക്ഷത്തും ഒരു വിജയം അനിവാര്യം ആയിരുന്നു. 13- ആം ദിനം ദ്രോണരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ യുധിഷ്ട്ടിരനതിരെ രൂക്ഷമായ യുദ്ധം നടന്നു. പരാജയഭീതിപൂണ്ട ദുര്യോധനനെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ ദ്രോണര്‍ സേനയുടെ മധ്യത്തില്‍ പദ്മവ്യൂഹം ചമച്ചു. ഒപ്പം ദുര്യോധനന്‍റെ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം യുധിഷ്ട്ടിരനെ ജീവനോടെ പിടിക്കുവാനായി മുന്നേറ്റ നിരയില്‍ ചക്രവ്യൂഹവും ചമച്ചു. യുധിഷ്ട്ടിരന്‍ ചക്രവ്യൂഹത്തില്‍പ്പെടാതെ അര്‍ജ്ജുനനും പ്രദ്യുംനനും പൊരുതി. പദ്മവ്യൂഹത്തിന്‍റെ സംരക്ഷണത്തില്‍ ആയിരുന്ന ദുര്യോധനനെതിരെ പ്രത്യാക്രമണം ചെയ്യാന്‍ കഴിയാതെ പാണ്ഡവസേന കുഴങ്ങി. കൃഷ്ണനും അര്‍ജ്ജുനനും പ്രദ്യുംനനും മാത്രമായിരുന്നു പാണ്ഡവപക്ഷത്തു പദ്മവ്യൂഹം തകര്‍ക്കാന്‍ അറിയാമായിരുന്നത്. പക്ഷെ അവര്‍ ചക്രവ്യൂഹതിനെതിരെ പൊരുതുകയായിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ആ ചുമതല അഭിമന്യു ഏറ്റെടുത്തു. അഭിമന്യു പദ്മവ്യൂഹം ഭേദിച്ചു. പക്ഷെ പാണ്ഡവസേനയ്ക്ക് ഒപ്പമെത്താന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല. ദ്രോണര്‍, കര്‍ണ്ണന്‍, കൃപര്‍, ആശ്വഥാമാവ്, ദുര്യോധനന്‍, ജയദ്രഥന്‍, ശകുനി, എന്നിവര്‍ അഭിമന്യുവിനെ വളഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ 7- പേരോട് ഒറ്റയ്ക്ക് പോരുതിതളര്‍ന്ന അഭിമന്യുവിനെ ദുശ്ശാസനപുത്രനായ ദുര്‍മാനസന്‍ ഗദയാല്‍ തലയ്ക്കടിച്ചു വീഴ്ത്തി. പക്ഷെ മരിക്കുന്നതിനു മുന്‍പ് ദുര്‍മാനസനെയും അഭിമന്യു വധിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ മഹാഭാരത യുദ്ധം 13-ആം ദിവസം, 16-ആം വയസ്സില്‍ അഭിമന്യു വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. അഭിമന്യുവിന്‍റെ പുത്രനായ പരീക്ഷിത്ത് ആണ്, ധര്‍മ്മപുത്രര്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം രാജാവായത്.

ഇത്രയും ഇതിഹാസം... ഇനി പുരാണം, ചന്ദ്ര പുത്രനായ വര്‍ച്ചസ്സാണ് ദ്വാപര യുഗത്തില്‍ അഭിമന്യുവായി ജനിച്ചത്‌. മഹാദേവ ശാപഗ്രസ്ഥനായ ശനി ആയിരുന്നു ദുര്യോധനന്‍ (ആശ്രമവാസിക പര്‍വ്വം-1-ആം അദ്ധ്യായം). ശനി ദേവന്‍റെ ശാപമോചനമാണ് കൃഷ്ണന്‍റെ ദുര്യോധനവധം. അതിനു ദേവന്മാര്‍ പാണ്ഡവരായി ജന്മമെടുത്തു, ഭഗവാന്‍റെ സഹായികള്‍ ആയി. തന്‍റെ പുത്രനായ വര്‍ച്ചസ്സിനെ നല്‍കുമ്പോള്‍ 16- വര്‍ഷത്തിനു ശേഷം, തിരികെ വേണം എന്ന് ചന്ദ്രന്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ അഭിമന്യു 16-ആം വയസ്സില്‍ ഭൂമി വിട്ടുപോയി.(മഹാ:സംഭവപര്‍വ്വം 67-ആം അദ്ധ്യായം). .

Nobel Prize winning physicists have proven beyond doubt that the physical world is one large sea of energy that flashes into and out of being in milliseconds, over and over again.

Nothing is solid.

This is the world of Quantum Physics.

They have proven that thoughts are what put together and hold together this ever-changing energy field into the ‘objects’ that we see.

So why do we see a person instead of a flashing cluster of energy?

Think of a movie reel.

A movie is a collection of about 24 frames a second. Each frame is separated by a gap. However, because of the speed at which one frame replaces another, our eyes get cheated into thinking that we see a continuous and moving picture.

Think of television.

A TV tube is simply a tube with heaps of electrons hitting the screen in a certain way, creating the illusion of form and motion.

This is what all objects are anyway. You have 5 physical senses (sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste).

Each of these senses has a specific spectrum (for example, a dog hears a different range of sound than you do; a snake sees a different spectrum of light than you do; and so on).

In other words, your set of senses perceives the sea of energy from a certain limited standpoint and makes up an image from that.

It is not complete, nor is it accurate. It is just an interpretation.

All of our interpretations are solely based on the ‘internal map’ of reality that we have, and not the real truth. Our ‘map’ is a result of our personal life’s collective experiences.

Our thoughts are linked to this invisible energy and they determine what the energy forms. Your thoughts literally shift the universe on a particle-by-particle basis to create your physical life.

Look around you.

Everything you see in our physical world started as an idea, an idea that grew as it was shared and expressed, until it grew enough into a physical object through a number of steps.

You literally become what you think about most.

Your life becomes what you have imagined and believed in most.

The world is literally your mirror, enabling you to experience in the physical plane what you hold as your truth … until you change it.

Quantum physics shows us that the world is not the hard and unchangeable thing it may appear to be. Instead, it is a very fluid place continuously built up using our individual and collective thoughts.

What we think is true is really an illusion, almost like a magic trick.

Energy!

You and I are pure energy-light in its most beautiful and intelligent configuration. Energy that is constantly changing beneath the surface and you control it all with your powerful mind.

You are one big stellar and powerful Human Being.

If you could see yourself under a powerful electron microscope and conduct other experiments on yourself, you would see that you are made up of a cluster of ever-changing energy in the form of electrons, neutrons, photons and so on.

So is everything else around you. Quantum physics tells us that it is the act of observing an object that causes it to be there where and how we observe it.

An object does not exist independently of its observer! So, as you can see, your observation, your attention to something, and your intention, literally creates that thing.

This is scientific and proven.

Your world is made of spirit, mind and body.

Each of those three, spirit, mind and body, has a function that is unique to it and not shared with the other. What you see with your eyes and experience with your body is the physical world, which we shall call Body. Body is an effect, created by a cause.

This cause is Thought.

Body cannot create. It can only experience and be experienced … that is its unique function.

Thought cannot experience … it can only make up, create and interpret. It needs a world of relativity (the physical world, Body) to experience itself.

Spirit is All That Is, that which gives Life to Thought and Body.

Body has no power to create, although it gives the illusion of power to do so. This illusion is the cause of much frustration. Body is purely an effect and has no power to cause or create.

The key with all of this information is how do you learn to see the universe differently than you do now so that you can manifest everything you truly desire.

Make Your Own Coconut-Oil Deodorant (Recipe Included!) By Ana Jadanec Guest Writer for Wake Up World

I’ve always been picky about deodorants. Not because they didn’t do their “job”, but there was always something I wasn’t too happy with. Scent, consistency, usability, bottle shape, irritation, drying factor… Well, this whole pickyness escalated in 2003 when I read the ingredients printed on the packaging of my store bought deodorant.

Aluminium jumped right at me. Let me just explain what this most abundant metal in Earth’s crust does, and how it ended on our armpits.

Aluminium-based complexes react with the electrolytes in the sweat to form a gel plug in the duct of the sweat gland. What this means is that someone in some lab discovered that adding aluminium complexes into the already suspicious mix of ingredients in deodorants closes pores in the skin and prevents sweat production. Well, this new piece of information officially started my crusade for happy armpits, without metals from Earth’s crust.

The more I focused on finding a health-friendly deodorant, the more problems I’d create. Namely contact dermatitis, which is just a fancy way to say localized rash or irritation of the skin caused by contact with some foreign substance. It would get worse, then better, then worse again… an endless cycle that depended on seasonal changes, temperature changes, exposure to sunlight etc.

I allowed all this for years because my skin has always been very free-spirited and abundantly willing to express itself and its dislikes since childhood; so, I just took it as one of those things that the biggest bodily organ does on an equally strange human body.

But all this changed when I discovered Coconut Oil, a wonder of nature used in the Philippines for centuries.

Recipe for Homemade Deodorant with Coconut Oil

The recipe is simple….

Ingredients:

1/4 cup melted unrefined extra virgin coconut oil which corresponds to 4 tablespoons of solid coconut oil

1/4 cup baking soda

1/4 cup corn starch

10 drops of essential oils (I used lavender and tea tree oil)

Glass jar with lid

Steps:

Place all the dry ingredients into your favorite bowl (you should love your utensils!)

Add the melted coconut oil and essential oils and stir well.

You’ll end up with a fragrant paste which should be poured into a jar before it solidifies. Remember, coconut oil’s natural state is solid, and the end product should look something like this.

Leave it to cool naturally before placing it in the fridge for extra solidification. I like to keep it at room temperature for easier application, but you can also keep it in your fridge.

The Final Word

Oh, and in case you wondered how these ingredients have been proven to work… baking soda absorbs odors, cornstarch absorbs wetness and coconut oil is an anti-oxidant and a moisturizer with anti-fungal/anti-bacterial properties. The essential oils you added will add their own properties. In my case, I added lavender oil as an antiseptic and tea tree oil for its antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiseptic qualities.

And that’s how you can create happy armpits!
