മന്ദമായുഴിഞ്ഞങ്ങനെ
ഇന്ദ്ര ഭാവന അംഗരാഗത്തിൻ 
ചന്തമായ് ചൊരിഞ്ഞങ്ങനെ
ചന്ദ്ര സൂര്യ കരങ്ങൾ നിന്നിലെ
മന്ത്ര തംബുരു മീട്ടവേ
ദേവതേ നീയുണർന്നു പാടിയീ
ജീവിതാനന്ദ ഗീതകം

നിന്നിൽ നിന്നടർന്നാലെനിക്കൊരു
പുണ്യതീരമുണ്ടാകുമോ
മണ്ണിലല്ലാതെ വന്നു പൂവിന്റെ മന്ദഹാസമുണ്ടാകുമോ
വ്യോമഗംഗയിലായിരം  കോടി താരകങ്ങൾ വിരിക്കിലും
ശ്യാമമോഹിനീ പോവുകില്ല ഞാൻ
നിൻ സ്വരാഞ്ജലിയാണു ഞാൻ
